US President Biden: “We’ll put an end to Nordstream. Don’t worry, we’ll find a way to do it.”

US President Trump: “You know, I ended Nordstream. I did it.”

European Union: “How could Russia do this? Wait, it wasn’t Russia? IT WAS UKRAINE?!”

This entire situation is very similar to the Trumpstein files. All the evidence out in the open. Criminals publicly pleading guilty. And yet we’re chasing ghosts instead.

It’s such a farce all around, everybody with a brain understands what happened. But they’ll go through this circus to pretend that Americans didn’t stab them in the back. At least we get to see some nazi infighting in the process.

IDK who but their name is Patsyy.
Seeing the size of that little boat after learning about the technicalities of such an operation, the shitload of equipment, teams of divers and assistance you need to even locate and then blow up a concrete reinforced pipeline somewhere at dangerous depths which only a few nations at best have the expertise to do makes it highly amusing.

I really want to hear some ukro they put on the stand explain how he did it.

You’ve made a massive rhetorical blunder here, friend.

Your comment here in context clearly means “Europe shouldn’t buy heating fuel from America, just like it shouldn’t buy from Russia”. But 6 hours ago, here, you said the opposite, that if Europe must buy fuel (and indeed it must, I hope we all agree), then they should get it from America in preference to Russia

Edit: oh, actually, what might have happened is that you changed your mind in the intervening upon learning new information! That is admirable and I withdraw my comment if it’s the case. (Although from a rhetoric standpoint, mentioning you’ve changed your opinion would probably be a good idea)

They were supplying fuel just fine, and what’s more it was in their interest not to mess with supplying it; that’s why inevitably it was a different country that destroyed the pipeline.

Also Europe gets its valuable resources from many non-democratic African countries; why not start there by no longer accepting resources from them? It has the added benefit of also no longer offering exploitatively low payment for them, so win-win.

the russians were delivering gas and oil extremely reliably. hell, they’re still delivering it, while european countries are sending arms to ukraine with which to shoot russia.

meanwhile, the US deliberately sabotaged the energy security of europe. and here you are, saying it’s the russians who are unreliable partners. there’s no hope for you.

nord stream isnt the only pipeline. please hide your ignorance a bit better, this is embarrassing.

also, amazing. so now you’re excusing a violent foreign entity bombing domestic infrastructure in the EU in order to wreck the EU industry and make it entirely reliant on said violent entity for energy. this is a good thing for europe, somehow.

              this level of mental vassalization…

they show that it isnt russia that’s unreliable, since they’re still sending gas through the remaining pipes, as long as there’s a buyer in the EU. do try to keep up and stop moving the goalposts.

you cant put uranium in a natural gas power plant, you do understand that, right? you also cant materialize nuclear power plants in seconds. people need to cook and heat their homes and run their factories while the EU rebuilds its energy grid so it’s not reliant on gas.

The real mistake was krauts dropping their nuclear plants. Nordstream was the generational transition plan for German industry and economy. The problem was US blowing it up, to get Europe invested in their “use Ukraine to hurt Russia” War.

no no, it was the russians, as everyone was very quick to point out when it happened.

then it was two plucky ukrainians who got in a small boat that couldnt fit the diving equipment necessary.

the US had nothing to do with it, biden only promised the world that nordstream would be gone.

“democracy” and its the country with the largest slave population in the world, the largest military, the lowest correlation between public support and policy, concentration camps on the border, gestapo actively hunting dissidents, a ruling duopoly that does everything it can to gerrymander and suppress the farce that passes for elections, active blacksites for political prisoners and harsh censorship. Alright bud.

If your criteria for “democracy” is “they will at least pretend to let the public have elections” then there’s quite a few countries you gotta acknowledge to be democracies - Including Russia.

The US Empire is a major part of the reason why Russia is the way it is today, and is far more damaging at a global scale. The US has always been worse than Russia ever since the USSR was established.

The soviets were on the correct side in Afghanistan, even if it did not work out. The Stalin era was not perfect by any means, but it was better than the Khrushchev era, and especially the Gorbachev era. “Stalinism” isn’t really a thing to begin with. 5 year plans were tremendously successful on the whole, which is why they are a staple feature of many socialist countries today. The USSR wasn’t perfect, that isn’t my point. My point is that the US Empire has always been worse than post-Tsarist Russia, whether it be during its much better socialist period or the worse modern capitalist period, simply due to how horrendous the US Empire is.

The only reason we learned about Abu Ghraib was because of one single Australian journalist working for a tabloid in Australia who waited months to publish pictures shared with every major news outlet in the west, because she figured the major news outlets would make some proper story about it. They never did.

The articles you shared as “proof” were all just statements, assumptions and estimations made by US and Ukraine officials, yet you think yourself somehow non-propagandised. Read “Inventing Reality”.

There is no way they are comparable. The US was established by slaveowners through a genocide of indigenous people, with the blood of African slaves. After WWII every war the US has engaged in has been riddled with war crimes. Not to talk about the amount of people starved to death in the global south through IMF and other instruments of imperial hegemony. The RF might have been up to some heinous shit at some point, but there is absolutely no way they are comparable or equal. You gotta stop deluding yourself.

Lmao you’re really repeating the “human wave” bs? The thing that was put forth by the surviving nazi generals when they had to explain why they lost a war with a less developed nation in the middle of establishing a new officer corps? The myth that had been debunked as soon as it was uttered and utterly smashed when the Soviet archives opened up? That one?
Their “human wave” (making tanks that are capable of arriving at the front lines and equipping the troops with functional weapons) vs. our glorious volksturm (Turning children into suicide bombers so Himmler can fuck his mistress one more time)

This is such common knowledge that not even dumbasses who get all their knowledge of past events from paradox games will think it real. Go talk to any uncle in order to fix this gap in your brain. And then learn to shut the fuck up about things you dont know

Also your argument about the Russian Republic being worse than the USA is something that happened more than two governmental systems ago?? The US is committing a genocide right now, the US murdered millions of iraqis, afghanis, syrians, libyans, kurds and so many more. The US is directly responsible for some of the worst regimes around the world - Pol Pot was directly backed by the US. Somehow the modern Russian Republic is worse than that because over a century ago another government in the same geographic region had serfs? Genuinely what is wrong with you?

US lead sanctions alone have killed over 30 million people since 1970. Not to mind all their wars like their war of extermination in Korea where they murdered an estimated 1 in 5 to 1 in 4 people of the DPRK, or their war in Vietnam where they carpet bombed and deployed chemical and biological agents against not just Vietnam but surrounding uninvolved countries such as Laos that still have negative effects to this day. Or how about the destruction of Libya under Obama turning the most developed country in Africa into a failed state with open air slave markets. Or the destruction of Iraq, Syria, and Afghanistan not only militarily but through the funding of groups such as Isis, Al Qaeda etc.

US and EU sanctions have killed 38 million people since 1970 […] In 2021, the most recent year of data, sanctions caused more than 800,000 deaths

This is all not even getting into the founding of the US through the genocide of natives or the millions killed by the slave trade etc.
