    What’s this “still do traveling”?

I’ve never been able to afford to travel, so in that regard nothing will change.

But, living off-grid as much as possible sounds appealing. I don’t know about the reality, though. Ironically, being an introvert would make it harder to live off-grid, methinks.

        • No permission to go to public school in Guangzhou even though me and my older brother were born in Guangzhou and grew up native Bilingual Cantonese & Mandarin… :(

I cant even call myself a 广州人 (Guangzhou-er) since I never got Guangzhou Hukou…

It’s somehow easier to get American Citizenship than a Guangzhou Hukou… lmfao wtf

Well, I suppose if they put a checkpoint between here and the grocery store…

I haven’t been more than 30 miles from my house in 15 years. I’d love to, but I can’t really.

Travel does not have to involve lots of money. I live 9 km from the French border and 25 km from the Swiss border. Travelling there costs me the price of a train ticket.

I take my biometric passport with me, of course.
