nothing. there isn’t anything out there even remotely approaching AGI. AI is being used by the military, yes, but it’s not like AI is piloting warplanes currently.

once there is some weapons platform directly controlled by AI, it’s definitely possible it could attack the wrong target, but that situation happens frequently enough with humans as well. and there’s absolutely no chance anytime soon of AI pulling a skynet and killing everyone in a nuclear war. last time I heard, the US nuclear arsenal still uses floppy disks to run their software, and it requires two people to launch a nuke. they’re trying to modernize the arsenal, but considering it’s the government you can expect it to be quite some years before they’ve caught up to current tech. AI couldn’t launch ICBMs because anything running AI is probably too modern to even talk to the computers launching nukes. most of that shit is still running on COBOL.

the germans share intelligence with US agencies. you’re more likely to have your data given to the US government if your email provider is in germany than you are if they are most other places in europe.

they also keep trying to pass laws to force all tech companies to backdoor encryption in germany. when that happens, your data would be safer literally anywhere else, including currently the US.

the same thing can happen on Tuta unless you pay with an anonymous method. these are privacy focused email providers, they are not anonymous email providers. they keep as little data on you as they need, but if you’re paying with a credit card then obviously you have your real name tied to the account.

you can argue it removes economic value from it, but then I would remind you that money and the economy is entirely made up and has no intrinsic value of it’s own besides what you give it.

either way, if you’re perceiving art as less valuable because of the existence of generative AI, then it is your own subjective choice for that art to have less value, not an objective “fact” as you claim.
