Don’t worry we’ll museums for him. These days, instead of newspaper headlines and TV footage we’ll have wall of unhinged tweets and AI propaganda posted on the official POTUS feed

Oh you poor soul, it’s not only that, they are likely going to tear down any monuments or rename them when you are gone as well.

I see no route where regardless of party who gets in in 2028 is going to keep any of the names either, like “Lake America” and “Gulf of America”, it’s such an insult to the rest of the world anyone running would decide against it and without any real opposition against tearing down the existing monuments made, I don’t see any real blockers.

I do think that they are likely right that the ballroom or whatever it ends up actually being will stay, but everything else? I firmly expect won’t be.

I met a traveller from an antique land

Who said: Two vast and trunkless legs of stone

Stand in the desart. Near them, on the sand,

Half sunk, a shattered visage lies, whose frown,

And wrinkled lip, and sneer of cold command,

Tell that its sculptor well those passions read

Which yet survive, stamped on these lifeless things,

The hand that mocked them and the heart that fed:

And on the pedestal these words appear:

"My name is Ozymandias, king of kings:

Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair!"

Nothing beside remains. Round the decay

Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare

The lone and level sands stretch far away.

    - Percy Shelley, “Ozymandias”

If you need to build a monument to yourself, you don’t deserve a monument. Building a monument to yourself is like giving yourself a plaque for a lifetime achievement award. It means a lot if you receive it from an organization representing your profession. It means nothing if you just have a plaque made and put it in your wall.

When he’s out of office, Congress should pass a law that it’s illegal to name anything after Trump, EXCEPT: Sewage Treatment Plants.

Then people who live near the plants can say things like “WOW, Trump is especially stinky today. Trump stinks much worse than usual.”

That way you insult sewage plants which are important to keep out environment clean for everyone and actually clean things up instead of making a mess… both things do not really fit Trumps behavior.

I’d gladly donate to a trump memorial provided he puts it to use immediately. Big ol gaudy headstone, gold leaf, Jesus statue, the works.

We hope his name will vanish asap but many will have shrines to him, indoctrinated.
