I actually love em. They’ve reverted back to the type of fucking stupid ass nonsensical comedy that in grew up with and I am here for it every day. Also, some of the fashion choices? I cannot understate how much I love ridiculous looking fashion. Bless those kids (but keep them the hell away from me).

One time I said “oh I don’t get involved in politics” by which I meant, “I don’t organize with any particular party” (which was the context). But I think about that all the time and hope they did not think what I always think when people say they are apolitical.
I’m very political, I just generally prefer non-partisan work.

Like a very long setup to a very shitty punchline. We were very good friends when we started dating, hurt the hell out of each other for a year or so, broke up, got back together for another painful year or two, broke up, hooked up very briefly again a year or two later. I couldnt figure out why I didn’t want to sleep with him and we pretended this was a totally normal way to deal with things. The punchline was that I am asexual and didn’t figure it out until like 5 years later and a couple more failed relationships.
We were really good friends though. His grandmother called me on Christmas and my birthday for years after we broke up. She is lovely.
He is a good guy but we both needed a lot of therapy. Hope he is happier now.
Car stuff. My partner of 10 years is in the autobody industry and even that is a word I just recently learned to distinguish from the mechanics side of things. I don’t drive, I don’t care for any of it, I don’t want to hear about it.
Ironically, my partner is the same way. He is in the industry because he’s good at it and knowledgeable but he fucking hates car stuff and especially car nuts.
