In the US, almost anyone can walk to the end of their driveway (or some other, similarly close location) and put an envelope in a box. In a matter of days, that envelope can be in any other box at the end of anyone else’s driveway in the US, for less than the cost of a bottle of water.

Similarly, the investigative arm of the Post Office, the USPIS, is arguably the most powerful agency of the US government, as there are virtually no laws limiting their authority to investigate.

It’s ethical to sell anything, as long as you’re completely upfront and honest about any issues you’re aware of, perform your due diligence in identifying any issues, and price it accordingly.

Agreed. To expand on that, I have zero sympathy for anyone who complains about the worldwide rise of fascism while still participating in corporate-owned social media or shopping at Amazon/Temu as anything other than a last resort for essential items.
