Meta fucks up literally everything they do. The entire company is cobbled together apps that they overpaid for.
It’s eventual collapse is inevitable. It will probably be a slow, painful ignominious end, as they sell off appendages one at a time to stay alive, and we can all bask in the slowly lingering schadenfreude.

It’s a right race. I think Amazon is still ahead though.
Amazon makes a product that actually works…as shitty as what they do to small businesses (and their own employees), their product does what it’s advertised to do…
I don’t see Amazon trying to get me to hate people the way Meta does…

They provide AWS to Israel’s military and weapon industry so they definitely are participating in genocide.

My last job used AI as HR, it was a nightmare. Screwed up all the time, had to escalate the smallest things because “Computer says “no””.
They were folding in AI into IT and the warning started kicking out for using social media, YT, etc. I was a working a 24/7/365 job monitoring gear. How do you fill the hours as a babysitter/firefighter. When its not broke we just sit there.
But by those metrics they did fire a few people until they realized how hard it was to replace them… And they wanted more money.
These guys are terrible people. Hopefully meta falls under.
