I’m thinking about a game where you have to organise things like:

  • deal with millions of people whose houses were bombed
  • caring for injured veterans
  • building morning infrastructure like war cemeteries
  • reorganizing the economy from weapon production back to useful goods
  • managing ideological challenges

You know, dealing with consequences

    I think the adventure zone podcast used the quiet year as an interlude or pre-campaign setup I think (as I’m sure others have as well)

      That’s exactly where I learned about it! They ran it as a worldbuilding tool for the Ethersea campaign.
