Think he’ll fake an Iran attack on US soil right before the midterms to justify whipping out the insurrection act or whatever new “Big Beautiful Tank Bill” he comes up with?
I’d honestly be more surprised if he didn’t try something along those lines.
He needs another 9/11 to justify more authoritarianism without pushback.
I’m pretty sure they let 9/11 happen too. Bush administration did a good job of sweeping it under the rug. This country in general has perfected the art of playing victim by metaphorically poking the neighbor’s dog with a stick so it can point to the dog bite when the cops show up to a dead dog and a pissed off neighbor.
Isreal does it pretty well too apparently.
