He needs another 9/11 to justify more authoritarianism without pushback.
I’m pretty sure they let 9/11 happen too. Bush administration did a good job of sweeping it under the rug. This country in general has perfected the art of playing victim by metaphorically poking the neighbor’s dog with a stick so it can point to the dog bite when the cops show up to a dead dog and a pissed off neighbor.
Isreal does it pretty well too apparently.
Oh yeah. Just like Pearl Harbor. Just need an excuse to get people behind a war.
