The internet has never been either of those things. It’s mostly full of shit. The question is how to deal with that and personally I cannot see any good solution.

I will never forgive my landlord for replacing the perfectly good gas stove with ceramic glass garbage.

I can’t even boil pasta properly because the damn thing switches between off and on every couple of minutes so it goes from a rolling boil to barely a simmer repeatedly.

I hate it vehemently.

It’s also impossible to clean. After one use a layer of grease seemed to meld with the glass and nothing will remove it. I had to use heavy duty oven cleaner on it after every single use and it still didn’t work. I’ve given up now, i’d rather replace it than spend hours scrubbing it every day.

The gas stove was a major reason for choosing this house to rent and I will not get over it. I don’t have asthma and I don’t have kids. I’m looking to buy a place and I am looking for a gas stove.

Sometimes they get mad when you interact with things they don’t like and shadowban you. Then when you intetact with their sub they ban you for ban evasion. I don’t really understand what happened, all i know is some lefty sub banned me for interacting with r/conspiracy and it spiralled from there.

Permanently banned from reddit for ban evasion. I didn’t know I wasn’t allowed to subscribe to incompatible subbreddits. I think one of them was conspiracy, don’t remember the other. I just think conspiracy theories are entertaining.

Packaging. With everyone buying online the profusion of different types of packaging is wasteful. Packages are processed by machines and in many cases the packaging gets caught on things, gets stuck in conveyor belts or just slides right off. A huge number of items have to be manually processed because of the packaging. Standardised packaging would make automation much easier and lead to faster, cheaper processing. Unfortunately marketers want to use the super shiny slippery packaging with their brand all over it.

If your wine boxes are slippery they deserve to get dropped.
