You can instantly turn anything into a weapon and you can instantly drop the floor out from anyone and drop them from the highest point you can reach.
Yes. It’s a weapon and a tool like an axe is a weapon and a tool

Think about how many things say the name of the airport. Tons of road signs, which are not cheap. Internal signs in the building. External signs. Every shirt and name badge of every employee (hundreds if not 1000). All the software. Every airline has to update stuff.

The common joke is that now people will be “departing from D. Parton”

The state already tried naming it Trump and it stalled when the city (who share control of the airport) didn’t also pass it. Then an airport in Florida took the name, so that’s moot now.
So it is a continuation of the “we can rename the airport something different” momentum, but Trump was a name isn’t really a risk any more. Someone like Fred Thompson would be more likely until Dolly became an option.

We like the idea. The people in Nashville are a little miffed that it’ll cost more than $10 million. We’d rather see that go to transit or education (and I think Dolly would have too).
Just put up a statue in the airport like Austin has SRV and use the money for something better

I did. Did you not read mine? If a single 3rd party entity is setting up all your backups, then that single entity still controls your destiny. That’s still a bad idea.

A single place can’t do 3-2-1. That’s not “3” (just a single company = single point of failure, as demonstrated here)

Oh, I’m not saying voting is the only thing we can do. Not by a long shot. It’s just the most impactful.

I feel that.
But just to say it: Because it’s still the right thing to do, and if we didn’t, it would just be that much worse.
There’s no denying the best thing people can do for the planet isn’t recycling, etc - it’s voting.
It’s been mostly privatized by a company based in the state that spends crazy amounts of money on lobbying
