As they and any other power would you fictional country.
For yours to work you have to answer questions like Switzerland.
Why didn’t others invade? Swiss mountains make that hard as hell. What about an economic blockade? Strong economic ties to many countries, neutrality in wars, value outside economics (craftsmen). How can their money still be valuable under such stress? Economic wizardry.
Different answers exist of course but that’s what the swiss are doing

I agree with all this person says but really had hopes they’d state it with less aggression.
Leave them be sadly is usually the best choice. There is no help available quite often. At best, if you think it’s a medical problem, an ambulance.
Cops are for crimes and nothing else. Only when people are in real danger. Otherwise they’re the danger and it is your fault for calling them.
Kind like Chemo therapy. Poison you use when desperate in an attempt to kill the problem. Only to be used when neccesary and sparingly.
See if a program like “Cahoots” or a similar crisis response program exists in your area too. If it does they may be able to help

Remove them. If you can’t ensure you own all the code written you can’t make it open source. It’s not yours to license.
I hope it’s not allowed here

When did that happen? I’ve only heard of that frontend UI doing that

It’d have to be less than a hundred for me personally. A grand less debt? That’s a nice feeling
I think there are internal fundemental ideas behind the fediverse that, if protected, will mitigate this issue.
So long as we don’t go the way of XMPP who allowed google into their eco-system allowing them to dictate the path forward by being the largest user. Google+ was allowed to federate, it became the largest user pool, and when it changed XMPP either followed or defederated causing users to lose contacts and google+ users to see XMPP users vanishing every so often. All they needed to do was make it harder to keep up than it was worth and XMPP pittered out.
A federated, non-corporate set of platforms won’t have the same tendancies as they don’t have the same goals, the same influences. If it gets big, and we resist corporations the whole way through, we won’t need to fuck shit up for money.
What worries me is that many Mastodon instances instantly wanted to federate with BlueSky. Same with tumblr. So stupid.
