There will be times when the struggle seems impossible. Alone, unsure, dwarfed by the scale of the enemy. Freedom is a pure idea. It occurs spontaneously and without instruction. Random acts of insurrection are occurring constantly. There are whole armies, battalions that have no idea that they’ve already enlisted in the cause. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward. Tyranny requires constant effort. It breaks, it leaks. Authority is brittle. Oppression is the mask of fear.

Then there’s the racket of paycheck lending places, where you get an advance on your next check for a big fee/interest. A brief solution for those who are that desperate for money now, but it digs a deep hole that many fall into.
Yes, but only at select places, maybe some banks but usually a check cashing place, and they charge a big cut of the check.
It would be absolute chaos.
So a Trump Presidency term.
They never report these “drops” and “crashes” as percentages, as it would kill the headline. Let’s talk about the percentage of the existing number that still has true value.
They know. Laws, rules, and constitutions don’t matter to them, and they’re being allowed to act accordingly.
1·13 days agoThat is an issue, one that is being discussed and can be turned off currently. Meanwhile Microsoft is head deep in AI so much they’re renaming known trademarks into their AI brand. So… I don’t think Mozilla is the bigger problem.
Recycling started off as the third R and last resort, the first two were Reduce and Reuse. Those were not compatible with an economy based on consumerism and growth, so Recycling became the focus, creating an industry to pick through the few things that could be recycled and trashing the rest, and encouraging the public to buy more because it’s not a problem as long as you participate.
And if you don’t participate, all the problems are your fault. Not the companies making the stuff, they’re just doing what you want.
It could be overused now where it wasn’t before. Or it could be where it was suppressed before. It may be somewhere in the middle. Which is better than being ignored and alienated, even if some use is more hype than realism.
I think we’re all on a spectrum in lots of different ways. Rainbows. Rainbows everywhere.
