8 days agoI use GrayJay, so if there’s ever a content creator that uploads to both YouTube and Odysee (or something else) then I default to following them on anything other than YouTube. In most cases that happens to be Odysee.
I don’t normally go to YouTube or Odysee just to browse available videos. But I have noticed that on both platforms you can tailor the content to show whatever you want. There are a lot of tech channels on Odysee.
As far as far right content, at one point I did attempt to compare the 2 platforms and I found that YouTube has almost all of the same channels that you see on Odysee. YouTube just does a better job with their algorithm at drowning those channels out.
Showing up once a week isn’t a problem if it’s only a handful of people going to the same place.
However, when you have a lot of people on this device in a small area, you’ll have to ask them to go farther and farther away. Or else you’re going to outsource who is checking on the device, and that’s going to start driving up the price for this service.
