Surface Temperature sensors (infrared) look like cameras or like a brick with a hole in it as well and are used for efficient winter maintenance
My country have them as well (it is a kit from a local provider). But of course my country sneeky deployed a Chinese smart cloud cam on top as well (a Hikvision Cam).
You even see the hikvison cam on the Website of decentlab, but when you click on the kit, you see, that the cam is not part of it.

12·3 days agoHaha, America is just as worrisome. Nearly 50% is so missinformed, uneducated and therefore feared, that they got where they are now…
So sad to see this, after such liberation of information due to the internet, itself was the demise of knowing the truth

0·6 days agoTldr: Bluetooth isn’t entirely the problem. The problem is manufacturers who don’t add privacy features like rotating identifiers into their Bluetooth enabled devices. Many smartphones are doing this these days.
E.g. modern non-cheap devices (iphone, pixel, general higher level android, airpods, apple watches, other modern headphones etc.) have those, and are not really track able like this.


It is not all Linux, some are BSD based, like a lot of routerOSs
