Yeah, it’s getting annoying. The website says the content is free? Then why do I need an account to access it? If it is free, then I should be able to view it or download it without any restrictions.

That’s pretty cool. I sometimes use CoMaps to get around, or for seeing some of the stuff I’ve added to Open Street Map.

I wonder if this was a push from John Carmack? I faintly remember him talking about trying to do something like this with Facebook/Meta years ago.
