We need to get past this idea of smart being the key, Everyone is smart in their own way. I spent a good few years in stem, everyone says oh your so smart. I am not i am logical and persistent (or as i see it unfortunately obsessive).

Second your schooling likely led to this path, cognitive edu models, alongside problem solving roles amplifys the idea of smart. Reality you leaned to your strength, not everyone gets the means to do that.

Don’t feel guilty for doing what you are good at and what your edu pointed you at. If you want to feel grounded again why not try giving back by teaching, mentoring, upskilling, voulenteering to local community projects or running workshops etc.

I picked out summer bulbs with my daughters. And we are looking forward to seeing them grow.

TBF in recent years there’s little of it worth visiting.

Another aspect is drive and motivation. You work to achieve in your life, and future, however that’s slipping so we are seeing more people say what’s the point? It’s a vicious circle.

The edu system has been sliding towards workforce requirements for a long time. Most people cannot distinguish the difference between learning, education and training.

The core product at the bottom of this is information. People feel information should be free. Corps wanna charge for it. Govs and influentials wanna use it to push an agenda.

I kinda see it like the library. There’s info and there’s the library. Traditionally these were made open to walk in and the library system allowed you access to all the info, peacefully, privately.

Now it’s like library has rooms. Some locked. They are owned by gob$bites some are owned by greedy. They aa regularly steal the open info, change it, hide it, copy it, they hijack the librarians and paint the walls. As they have access to the librarian they can see what I look it.

The library is no fun no more.
