Sergio Furnari said he thought the lifesize sculpture – which no one commissioned – would raise ‘millions’ of dollars
To add injury to insult, Furnari recently broke his foot working on the statue, after tripping over a roll of tape in his studio.
“Is it cursed? Maybe. I don’t know,” he told the Guardian.

Sounds like an oversupply problem.
Did they not check what the demand for fugly Charlie Kirk statues was prior to starting?
It was manufactured outrage over some podcaster who got shot. It’s not surprising that there are no buyers, they never cared.
The way you phrase that kinda makes the artist out to be an idiot.
It was fun being out of the loop, I assumed he was an actor, yet to be proven wrong.
He did check his feelings. He felt it would bring millions.
Who woulda thunk the facts over feelings gang would prioritise feelings when it comes to making money?
I’m wondering if he saw the manufactured tributes across all the news to that POS and didn’t understand that it was all manufactured and Kirk’s influence was with a very small number of poor stupid people (or foreign influencers).
