At least two retail customers have filed proposed class-action lawsuits against companies that have sued in trade court to ensure they receive refunds from tariffs now-deemed illegal.
Its not just FedEx, every shipping company made the buyer pay those tariffs, but that was standard procedure for years. The shipping company payed the dues at port, then made the buyer pay the shipping company back before the items are delivered. The customers sueing the shipper are sueing the wrong entity.
