The Pentagon is making "heavy preparations" for deploying American troops on the ground in Iran as President Donald Trump continues to weigh his options.
The New York Times has described the site as “a blog that chronicles the gossipy media world”
So not the most credible source you could imagine. But on the other hand, Wikipedia doesn’t list any examples of Mediaite being fake news. And in this case, Mediaite is just summarizing a CBS article - the CBS article should obviously have just been linked instead.
In any case, it seems to me that Trump has two options: 1) Give consessions to Iran to save the global oil market or 2) ground invasion. Since I can’t imagine Trump surrendering, no matter how game theory rational it would be, I am expecting ground operations.
The NYTimes is one of the least credible sources on anything related to Israel. Taking their assessment of credibility of a news organization destroys your own.
Pbs is relatively good, I listen to them on podcast almost everyday, but for the most accurate reporting, democracy Now is the only one I have. Straight up.
who runs that, any quick details you can list off why you trust that one? I try to avoid the ones that farm clicks like huffpo and other yellowish journalism even if it is left leaning or neutral. If you got the time that is, i would appreciate the info to know where to start when i look into them
Democracy Now! Is a nonprofit run by Amy Goodman. 5 days a week since idk when, a long time.
I trust them because they are the only ones that will call out a lot of lies. PBS has to kowtow on a lot of stuff, as a broadcast network and all. Democracy Now is fearless.
i have been seeing them around a lot lately, i thought msnbc had just rebranded. Turns out both i guess, they are called MS Now, ill give them a shot, thanks

There’s defnitley some irony in NYT giving credibility feedback for another outlet haha
