    It took a lot of public pressure, but Democrats are actually trying to block additional funding for this now. Only problem is thar ICE already has a huge multi-year slush fund

          The cynical might claim that they can afford to appear to respond to public pressure now, since the slush fund was already completed.

            More that congress operates on a go-along-to-get-along basis by default, and it takes some serious popular rage to change that

      It was the funding bill. Without it everything would break. I know a bunch of us think that’d be dandy, but it wouldn’t.

      Should have voted Harris.
