Pittman also argued that the defense lawyers would be outraged if prosecutors were to wear shirts that showed pro-ICE or pro-Trump imagery in front of a jury.
Or even worse, imagine the outrage if people were being forced to defend themselves against terrorism charges for attending a protest against a lawless organization doing coordinated attacks on innocent Americans.
Just fascinating the judge is straight up admitting that the opposite of honoring the Civil Rights Movement is Trump and ice. Curious of the logic though. So the trial was declared a mistrial because they thought the defendants attorney wearing a civil rights themed t-shirt would cause the jury to equate the Civil Rights Movement with the defendants. As if the attorneys arguments weren’t going to do that anyway most likely. The judge was clearly looking for an excuse.
