I make it a point to hide/block all the extraneous shit that the feed offers - and have sone so for years - so maybe that’s the difference?

NGL, I have Win 7 on a Mac that I play old as hell PC games with and FF has been a disaster on it for a long time - to the point where I get most of the downloads of games and the various drivers they need with the macOS install…

I was there almost 15 years and it is mind-meltingly toxic compared to lemmy.

Now I’m on the lemmy.zip instance and tend to lean towards more tech ended stuff, so maybe that’s the difference…

This site is light-years nicer than Reddit’s been since about 2018.
